Core Modules

Our program is divided into “Courses” according to grade levels. However, due to the individualized nature of the curriculum, a student may be at different levels in different subjects and may progressively change levels on a continuum throughout the school year. The details are discussed in the above video “Presenting ACE”. Thus, these “Courses” (curriculum levels) and their subsidiary “Modules” (subjects) are not conducted separately but in unison.

    Academic Pathway / Graduation

Each curriculum Level equals one year’s work for a typical student, thus it would take an average student twelve (12) years to complete Levels 1 through 12 (Elementary through High School). However, since students pursue the course at their own individualized pace, dependent upon their unique abilities and personal motivation, they may complete one curriculum level or one course level in shorter or longer than a year thus they may attain graduation in a shorter or longer time-frame as well. With this curriculum, time is the variable, and learning is the constant. Students will receive a progress report every quarter and one summary of the whole school year at the end of the school calendar.

Credits towards graduation are accumulated from grade 9 onwards. One credit is earned for each level (comprising of 12 PACEs in one subject) of study completed. Additionally, certain electives are required for graduation. Electives may be selected by the student according to his/her vocational direction. A maximum of three non-academic credits can be counted towards graduation.

Students graduating from Level 12 will be awarded an American High School Diploma, awarded by Perpetual Hope International Academy (PHIA). High school transfer students must complete at least one year as a full-time student in PHIA before they receive the American High School Diploma (School of Tomorrow® only provides the curriculum but they do not confer the awards)

American High School Diploma with Honours Minimum 27 credits + 94% GPA + min. of 600 WPM in Readmaster (Grade 9-12)

American High School Diploma Minimum 25 credits + 88% GPA + min. of 500 WPM in Readmaster (Grade 9-12)
